school safety Providing a safer and more secure environment in schools requires a comprehensive approach. A School District's Emergency Response Plan is one component of this comprehensive approach. If a District is operating without this critical component, it should be the first priority to create a functional and effective Emergency Response Plan.

In a perfect world, the order in which the various components of security are applied could make a difference in the amount of time and resources that are allocated. However, it is not paramount that these steps be taken in any certain order. An example would be that a thorough Security Assessment, followed by implementation of enhancements, be completed before creating an Emergency Response Plan. If accomplished in this order, the Plan would reflect response based on completed enhancements and the most up to date and current information.

Often however, the Plan is already in place based on lesser and non-current threats, and must be updated following the Security Assessment.

Training and understanding of the Emergency Response Plan should be ongoing.

Our trained and certified polygraph examiners conduct the polygraph examinations. During the truth verification process, computerized polygraph instrumentation is utilized, in conjunction with pre-test and post-test interviews.

The term "polygraph" means "many writings", and various physiological activities are recorded. The polygraph instrument records changes in cardiovascular, respiratory and electrodermal patterns. The polygraph recordings are reviewed and analyzed by the examiner, and a professional opinion is rendered based on the polygraph recordings.
